I was given a very comfortable room on the second floor and it was quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Reception staff were helpful (on the whole) and one receptionist was most helpful in allowing me to check in for my return flight on the hotel's reception computer. I am very grateful to her for this. I stayed in the same hotel four years ago when it was called Hotel California - it is now part of the Leonardo group. I was pleased to see that it is still a very good hotel and standards have not changed for the worse.

Location couldn't be better. Right in Ku'dam and 5 min walk to either Uhlandstrasse U-bahn or S-bahn in Savigny Platz with train direct to the airport. Staff friendly and helpful! Loads of restaurants around! All categories!! After a bad start at check-into probably hotel's smallest room (miserable!) I was moved to a large and very nice room! Couldn't be much better! Good breakfast in large breakfast room. "Standard buffet". But nothing to complaint about! Tables always quickly cleared.

A very warm welcome, great staff at the reception. Free water and apples. Got a room upgrade - thanks so much for that, we did not expect that! The very next day the room was cleaned and everything was replenished: water (high quality), coffee pods (average quality). The room is ok in size, nothing special, but we did not stay at home except for sleeping. No noise from the street, no noise from other rooms. A little bit tricky lift, but it was fun :) The location is not central at all, but it is close to the zoo. The district is really cool, a breath of fresh air after living many times in central districts with all known sights - give it a try. Plenty of delicious restaurants in the neighborhood, 10 minutes to the center by metro. I loved the stay!

This is the second time we stayed here. We chose to book here again because we liked the area and the price of the hotel is good considering the facilities and location. We got a room with a bathtub and overlooking the inner courtyard, as requested. Coffee machine was available in the room. We also used it to generate hot water for tea. Small fridge and a safe were also available.

Great location, very easy access to other areas of Berlin. S and U Bahns can be reached in 10-15 minutes. It was very chilly during our stay, so we didn't get to walk around the area in the evenings. Will have to come again and definitely to Leonardo. The hotel room is cozy and big, an inhuman-sized TV on the wall, fast internet. It's partly lucky that it faces the courtyard, so it's not clear if the room would be noisy if the windows faced the street. Special thanks to the staff!!! Only upon arrival, they served us water with lemon and apples, kept our backpacks until the evening, but most importantly, found an opportunity to offer a better room at no extra charge. Thanks again!

The comfort was enormous. We got upgraded to the superior room surprisingly. Quiet and very good looking rooms. There was water and coffee waiting for us in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location which I thought is far away from the center is beautiful and very convenient to sightseeing - metro station next to the hotel and train station 5 min walk.

The location is great, staff was helpful, there's a chance to leave your car securely. Perfect place for a quick city escape, close to many major tourist attractions. Plus, the breakfast is worth the price, especially if you're on the run.

Staff were amazing. Very friendly and looked after our every need. Hotel was clean and in a very nice area with lots of food outlets closely and within easy reach of public transport. The breakfasts were very good.
